I graduated from Savanna High School, then received an Associates Degree in Horticultural Sciences. After that I went on to get my Bachelor’s of Science and my Teaching Certificate in K-8 Science, Elementary Education, and Mild to Moderate Disabilities from SOSU. I then attended ECU and received my Masters Degree in Public School Administration.
This is my first year at Wilson. I am currently the Special Education Director and Elementary Principal.
I previously taught at Haileyville Public Schools for 16 years. During that time I taught 2nd and 3rd grade, middle school Science, Special Education, and Humanities. I also was one of the Tech supervisors, was MAS/iSIS administrator, gradebook instructor, and coached Cheerleading for 8 years.
I am currently engaged to be married and have two children, Seth and Kensey, who are 17 and seniors this year. I have two cats, Rex and Booger, and 5 coon dogs, Dan, Ann, Cletus, Clarabell, and Dozer.
I enjoy fishing, hunting, reading, remodeling houses and decorating, arts and crafts, and working in my yard.
